A1C and “hunter” gene.
With the “hunter” gene your A1C would be strongly effected by your diet. The rising A1C is not necessarily indicative of diabetes. It could simply be you are eating more sugar/starch/alcohol. Since diabetes is not unheard of for “hunter” gene people this is a problem. Monitor your blood sugar and/or take another glucose tolerance test.
